About the artist
Jeanroll Ejar is an Iloilo-based sculptor. Coming from a family of furniture makers, Ejar transforms the by-products of his family’s craft into his artistic medium. He began using sawdust to create pieces that ultimately earned him a selection in the Philippine Art Awards. His work, “Iloy,” is a depiction of motherhood and the vital role mothers play in homes.
