About the artist
Kristoffer Brasileño is a prominent contemporary Filipino painter and educator based in Iloilo City. He is best known for his surrealist and pop-surrealist works that explore memory, regional identity, and Filipino heritage. Brasileño also runs Thrive Art Gallery. His art often blends traditional techniques with Pinoy pop-surrealism, using vibrant colors and symbolic imagery of muses, local flora, and fauna to depict the unconscious mind and Ilonggo culture.
