About the artist
Allain Hablo is an artist based in Iloilo City. After his transition from social realism to abstraction, Habloβs Kintsugi series became a defining phase of his career. Anatomy of Healing 3 is an artwork that has transformed from a different image into what it is now. According to the artist, he missed the right catalyst-to-hardener ratio, which created cracks on the canvas. In what he says is a rare move for him, he peeled off part of the canvas, embracing the imperfections.
