Art Geroche’s Passion of Christ series depicts the biblical events through the artist’s eyes. His experience illustrating graphic novels allows the paintings to effectively tell a story. He achieved this by carefully choosing a viewpoint. For instance, in The Last Supper, the focus is on the food, while in The People’s Judgement, the viewer sees the scene from behind the platform.

The exhibition aims to examine the diverse ways in which Christ has influenced and continues to influence cultural landscapes. Artists addressed prompts that explore historical and contemporary representations of Christ, the influence on specific cultural practices (particularly Filipino traditions), interpretations of hope, compassion, social justice, and personal perspectives on the life and teachings of Christ.
