Mark Anthony Larida is a painter and graphic designer based in Iloilo City. He creates worlds full of whimsical characters and objects. Some of his artworks may be inspired by the many films he has watched as a projectionist for the Film Development Council of the Philippines from 2013-2016. A trained graphic designer, he has experience working for magazines and printing presses. He also worked as a graphic designer for a textile design supplier for Italian fashion houses and luxury brands.He founded a community of artists who regularly meet up for plein air painting in Iloilo. In 2013, he joined the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence Awards and was selected as one of the semi-finalists.
